Our Classrooms
Infant/Toddler Classroom
12m - 24 months
Ms. Adriana truly enjoys working with our youngest learners. She is dedicated to early childhood at each age and stage, and thrives in every classroom. She so excited to start each day and glows while themes float around the classroom like a dream.
She is a mom of two amazing girls and holds a BS from NMSU in Family and Child Studies.
Ms. Adriana will focus on language and social development of each child while teaching them how the world around them works.
Early Preschool Classroom
24-36 months
Ms. Harmony and Ms. Chloe work together in the classroom like peanut butter and jelly. They are playful and loving with our 2 year old children. The children feel like they can express themselves openly and with respect and admiration.
Ms. Harmony has her Child Development Certificate from CNM and has 3 years experience in the classroom. She is dedicated to early childhood and it shows in the way the children love her.
Ms. Chloe starts UNM fall of 2026 and fun fact-she graduated PreK from Ms. Kelli's House. So it is an honor to have her work here as she achieves her BA in Early Childhood Education.
EARLY Pre-K Classroom
OUR YOUNGEST 3 YEAR OLDS
This classroom is a small classroom for our youngest 3 year old's. Our focus:
*comprehension and enjoyment of books
*phonemic awareness and identify letters as having meaning
*many ways numbers are represented in relationship between numbers and quantity
*creative activities that help with confidence and prosocial behavior
*community awareness and environmental care
*self, family and community
MIXED Pre-K 3-4 year old Classroom
Ms. Tammy has been a teacher with PreK for 6 years now. Her classroom is vibrant, alive and always working. The mixed ages classroom of 3-4 year old children is focused on creating a classroom culture of acceptance, resilience, and critical thinking. The classroom uses many forms of curriculum to focus on learning about the world around them and about themselves.
Ms. Tammy holds an AA in Early Childhood Education from CNM and has been at MKH for 11 years.

Ms. Yvonne comes to us for the first year after working in PreK for 17 years at another center. We are so excited to have her. Her laughter is infectious and her stories bring MUCH joy to the preschool and classroom.
Ms. Yvonne holds an AA in Early Childhood Education from NMSU.
Pre-K 4-5 year old Classroom
Ms. Ariana (Ari) has been a teacher with PreK for 6 years now. Her classroom is real world to say the least. The classroom uses Heggerty for language and literacy and HighScope to use for all the play-based activities. Ms. Ari's creativity brings real world experiences to life in the classroom, giving the children every chance to experience the world around them.
Ms. Ari holds an AA in Early Childhood Development and has been at MKH for 6 years.

Our new PreK EA comes to us this fall for her first year after working in early childhood for 5 years at another center. We are so excited to have her because her passion shows in the way she speaks about the way children learn. She has experience in the classroom and will start working on her CDC.
